Dr. Allison Gordon started her education at Cornell University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Society. She then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Dental School and was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
After completing her doctorate, Dr. Gordon pursued a General Practice Residency at Woodhull Medical Center, an Affiliate of the New York University School of Medicine. She also completed multiple externships, including at the Division of Dentistry at Weill Cornell Medical College and with the Indian Health Service in Mesa, AZ.
Dr. Gordon continues to cultivate and strengthen her skills and knowledge in the ever-changing dental field. She routinely participates in continuing education courses including the intensive NYU-CDE implant course. She’s also Invisalign® certified. Additionally, Dr. Gordon is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society.
Professionally, Dr. Gordon has special interests in both minimally-invasive, conservative treatment and cosmetic care, allowing her patients to smile with teeth that are strong and beautiful.
She believes in listening to each patient’s concerns and working with them to help the patient understand dental disease and each treatment option. Understanding that the patient-doctor relationship is built on mutual trust and understanding, she partners with those in her care. Together, they decide on the treatment approach that’s clinically and personally appropriate.
Outside the office, Dr. Gordon is an avid reader and television binge-watcher: she always has great recommendations and loves when patients share theirs! She lives in Manhattan with her husband Dave and their kitty Marley, where they spend Sundays watching the Jets lose.
