Meet Dr. Daniel Jacobs

Dr. Daniel Jacobs was born in Northwest Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated summa cum laude. He moved to Philadelphia, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in the spring of 2007. After finishing dental school, Dr. Jacobs completed a general practice residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Since the completion of his residency, Dr. Jacobs has practiced in both Philadelphia and Boston. He has moved back to his wife’s hometown and is now practicing in New York City. In May of 2018, Dr. Jacobs graduated from the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, WA. This is a nine part seminar series consisting of both lecture and hands-on participation in advanced treatment planning, full mouth reconstruction, and both general and cosmetic dentistry. He is on track to become a mentor at the center in the near future.

In June of 2018, he received his FAGD (Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry) award. The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Fellowship was created to honor those who recognize and embrace the professional obligation to remain current in their knowledge and skills in order to ensure delivery of the highest quality oral healthcare and to better serve patients. Today, a fellowship in the AGD is the most widely recognized designation amongst dental professions, proving commitment to continuing education and serving as a model by which to measure professional excellence.

Dr. Jacobs is a caring, dedicated, and ethical professional. He understands that each patient has different needs and expectations, and therefore feels that all treatment should be customized according to the person, not the tooth. Patients can expect a kind, enthusiastic professional with a genuine interest in you as a person as he guides you through a lifetime of dental care.

When Dr. Jacobs isn’t busy caring for patients, he enjoys an active life filled with family, fitness, and cooking, all of which he enjoys with his wife Arielle, two daughters, and their dog Lola.
