Dr. Mitra Astar received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry, and completed her residency program at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Astar continued her post-doctorate education at New York University Department of Periodontology and Implants, where she continued to work as a clinical assistant professor for over 18 years.
Dr. Astar is a Board Certified periodontist who's passion in practice is to deliver the highest quality of care for her patients. She achieves this by creating a customized treatment plan to deliver optimal periodontal care with quality assurance.
